Alex Humes

Alex Humes

Founder and Аcting Coach

Alex co-ran City Acting for 15 years, was integral in designing their courses and content, and has helped thousands of adults find and use their unique voices and energy to further their personal and professional development. Born into an acting family, he performed at Oxford University while a student and was nominated as a Rising Star at the British Independent Film Awards. He worked as an actor all over the world, and since training and certifying in various embodiment modalities has now focused his energies on providing a space for adults to explore acting, themselves, what they love doing, and their purpose. While most of his students use this training to have fun or progress in their own personal and professional fields, many have become working actors or have joined amateur theatre companies.
