Scene Work (Intermediate)

Course Details

Scene Work has been designed as a follow on from Fun for Beginners, but is open to anyone who has completed an equivalent beginner's course or who feels they already have a little acting experience. The classes run weekly for 7 weeks Thursdays, 7-9pm, Jan 15 - Feb 26. Rehearsing a scene from well-known plays and films every week, you'll have fun acting, exploring who you are, and building self-confidence outside the rehearsal room. · Rehearse and act scenes from plays and films · Explore acting techniques from Stanislavski to Meisner · Understand how to use yourself to create a character and engage with text · Continue to build confidence and explore the way you present to the world · Allow yourself to trust your authentic power and develop your spontaneity The drama course is spread over 7 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small in order to give you a lot of individual feedback and encourage a friendly and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and grow.
